**But this one I can't quite make out. Does anyone know exactly what they say here? I'm particularly stuck on the grammar of this part of the sentence "при выход из поезда":
Увижаемые пассежиры, при выход из поезда, не забывайте свои вещи. = Respected passengers,

A little off-topic, I think, but I promise it relates to my study of the Russian language!

Since I was 10 or so, I'd been listening to anime music a lot (not so much anymore, but yeah), and I found that singing along with the words and looking at translations (out of curiosity) of the songs actually helped me learn some Japanese (and get pretty good at pronouncing it) without ever taking a lesson or opening a book.

So, once I started learning Russian, I wanted to do the same thing. I discovered lots of Russian music that I like, and I listen to it. But it's a liiiitttle more difficult to sing along to than Japanese, so I looked up the lyrics. However, translating isn't so easy.

Does anyone have a link to a site that might give translated lyrics for Russian rock music (specifically Mumiy Troll (Мумий Тролль). I love them!)? I'd rather not post a "WHAT DOES THIS SAY LOL" post here for every song I'd like translated. I figure it'd be easier if there was a site.

So I've been going on a фабрика звёзд binge, and I tried to explain it to a friend; it's not just American Idol. I feel there's a hint of Real World mixed up in there too (or maybe it would be better to say like... next top model or charm school where they live together and get lessons too...?)

Two questions:

1) Russian cartoons, which would be appropriate for beginning learners of russian. Where can I find them to download hopefully with subtitles (cheburashka is not an option)?

I'm especially looking for 38 ПОПУГАЕВ... but I haven't been able to find a version with subtitles. Does one exist?


2) Is there anywhere a recording online of the russian metro announcements? all of them? any of them? The real official ones would be nice.
