I would like to write the following sentence in Russian:
"In this week's issue of the American political magazine "Newsweek," it is/was revealed (to no one's surprise) that President Bush does not watch the news on television or read about it in newspapers."
I am having trouble with the construction "in this week's"... Without it, I think this sentence is pretty easy:
В американском политическом газете "Newsweek", пишут что Пресидент Буш не смотрит новости по телевизору и боовше не читаю об этом. Информация не какой большой сюрприз для многих.
So, if anyone can tell me how (and if it is possible) to insert "in this week's" into this sentence, that would be great... Also, if I've messed up on the grammar, I would appreciate any advice on how to fix it.

And if you would like to engage in a political discussion, please contact me through my personal journal about it (and not here in this post).
Спасибо:)

Song - Cyrillic Alphabet
Sep. 14th, 2005 02:59 pmHello,
*waves*
My name is Marie-Pierre. I have just started my first course of Russian this week, and I was wondering if anyone would know of a site where I could listen to a -song- to learn the Cyrillic Alphabet. I have already been refered to a website where I can hear it one letter at a time, but I find a song would be more useful.
Any idea?
Thank you!
