 Hey there,

What do these words mean?

Великобритании and Бриан

I'm unclear as to when I should use certain cases.  This is my current understanding:

Accusative is used when you're talking about something/direct object, such as:

я хочу собаку
я вижу его

Genitive is used when you're talking about ownership, such as:

это его книгы
Is ownership (with special modifiers or more?) also applied to "зовут"? -- Её зовут _____.

And how does Dative apply to age if it's purpose is to explain an indirect object? I'm not making the corellation, sorry.

What are the differences between "более-менее" and "более или менее"? I've heard and seen both in conversation and writing. Are they interchangable? Is one more uneducated sounding? Is one conversation and the other better for writing?

Also there seem to be a number of ways to say "sometimes, occasionally, from time to time" in Russian. These are the ones that I tend to use
порой
иногда
время от времени

Are they all fairly interchangable or would some of them sound strange in conversation? Are there any other interesting differences?

I am unclear about the meaning of the  phrase, "Это актуально, поскольку в обществе, особенно среди молодежи, усиливаются фашистские настроения," particularly the word (conjunction?) "поскольку." If someone could tell me what this means, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello!
Me again, with a really stupid question...
Он сегодня уехал в Израиль
Does it mean that he left for Izrael today, or just that today, he is no longer here because he has left for Izrael.
And then ther are some words I cant hear, And i cant find the lyrics anywhere:
Скоро стая акул капитала разметает ??? союз (логично былы бы Советский, но...).
да здравствует частная собственность! рас??? он скромно сказал.
