Textbook in Russian

Hi, I am native russian speaker and one person asked me, if I can teach her some Russian from the very beginning. As you may guess, I have no idea what textbook one should use - so I hope you can tell me what would be the best choice? which textbook(s) you find the most logical and easy to understand? If possible, give full title so I can look up for it. Some matherials in electronic form are also appreciated!

I need your help to find a poem. It was given to me a while ago and I lost it. I'll give you all the information I know... and if you can think of anything I will be very thankful.

It was by (I dont know how to spell it) михайл and a last name I dont know.
It was an emotive poem (if i remember corectly)
only like 6 lines maybe?
It started off describing a sunset I believe.

And that is all I remember.
I realize there isn't much info here... So I dont expect anyone to find it... but It's worth a shot, right?!

I'm looking for the spelling and/or origin of a surname. We only know it as it is pronounced: Байсики.

Is this a Slavic/Russian name? If so, where from? If not, any clue what the last name might actually be? The person with this last name is definitely from Eastern Europe.
