I need your help to find a poem. It was given to me a while ago and I lost it. I'll give you all the information I know... and if you can think of anything I will be very thankful.

It was by (I dont know how to spell it) михайл and a last name I dont know.
It was an emotive poem (if i remember corectly)
only like 6 lines maybe?
It started off describing a sunset I believe.

And that is all I remember.
I realize there isn't much info here... So I dont expect anyone to find it... but It's worth a shot, right?!

I think you need to search some poems of Mikhail Yurievich Lermontov.

There isn't much info exactly :) it could be (Mikhail Katkov) or someone else.
To find what you want try to follow this link http://www.lib.ru/POEZIQ/, there are a lot of russian poetry there and may be you will find that poem.

Полны свежей мглой;

Must be this one. Mikhail Lermontov, just 8 lines:)
It´s actually a translation of a poem by Goete.

it´s fine, the thing is Lermontov did a lot of Heine translations as well (Lorelei, for instance). I knew that myself:))), otherwise I wpuldn´t have agreed with you so easily:)

Well, I typed "Михаил закат стихи" in Yandex, so isn't it the thing?

If not, at least try to look here http://www.yandex.ru/yandsearch?stype=&nl=0&text=%EC%E8%F5%E0%E8%EB+%E7%E0%EA%E0%F2+%F1%F2%E8%F5%E8
