How would I say: "Would it be easier if I booked the flight for you?"

Also, "Just wanted to let you know..."

#1: "Не будет ли проще, если я закажу билет для тебя/вас". The difference in the last word means: 1) you are talking with your friend, relative, etc.; 2) you are talking with elder person, want to be more politely, group of people, etc

#2: "Просто хотелось, чтобы ты знал / Просто для информации". The phrases are the same

Not word by word translation, just have the same sense and sounds good:

How would I say: "Would it be easier if I booked the flight for you?"

formal: Хотели ли бы Вы, чтобы я заказал(а) билеты на полет
informal: Хочешь, я закажу билеты?

"Just wanted to let you know..."
Not common phrase in russian language, but you can say
formal: Примите к сведению, что ...
informal: Не забудь, .... (~ don't forget)

or jsut simple, Кстати...

"Would it be easier if I booked the flight for you?" = "Мо́жет, бу́дет про́ще, е́сли биле́ты [на самолёт] закажу́ я?"

Just wanted to let you know... = kind of difficult to give a single translation because it would change depending on the context. Here are some possible options:

1). "I didn't want to offend you. I just wanted to let you know what I think." - "Я не хоте́л тебя́/вас оскорби́ть. Я про́сто хоте́л, что́бы ты знал/вы зна́ли, что я ду́маю".

2). "Hi. Just wanted to let you know I'll be a little late." - "Приве́т! Я хоте́л тебя́ предупреди́ть, что немно́жко опозда́ю."

3). "Just to let you know, we're not going to Bahamas after all." - "[Кста́ти,] чтоб ты знал (or к твоему́ све́дению), мы всё-таки́ не пое́дем на Бага́мы".

The bottom line is: there is no direct equivalent. You have to rephrase depending on the situation. I hope this is more helpful than it is confusing.

"билеты на полет" - does not sound good. "Билеты на этот рейс", at the very least.

  1. Не проще ли мне заказать Вам/тебе билет?
  2. К Вашему/твоему сведению,…
