notes to a landlady

My current landlady is Russian and I am moving out next month. I want to leave her a note saying that something along the lines of "thank you, but it is time for me to go." How does this sound to a native Russian speaker? Is it too much? Is it awkward? Is переводить the right verb?

Благодарю вас за время, в вашем прекрасном доме, но теперь моя пора переводить.

you are confusing two different verbs - перевозить (to move) and переводить (to translate):)

but перевозить is not appropriate here anyway. you only use it if after this verb you actually describe the things you want to move (Я перевезу свои вещи - I'm going to move my stuff).

you'd better use переезжать (to move).

most Russians would put it somewhere along the lines of:
"Уважаемая (her name)! Мне было очень приятно жить в Вашей квартире, но сейчас у меня возникла необходимость переехать. Спасибо Вам за все. (signature)"

which means
"Dear (name),
I liked living in your flat, but at the moment I need to move. Thank you for everything. (signature)"

"благодарю за время в вашем прекрасном доме" is saying in english by russian words. It would be much better if you wrote something like this: "Спасибо Вам, мне было очень хорошо в вашем прекрасном доме,.."
