Just a quick question... in a "который" clause, does "который" have to be in the same case as the noun it is referring to? What I mean is, does the appropriate case pass over the comma?

It's not quite clear what you mean. We say человек, который смеётся... So человек refers to который through comma.

Say it was something like this: "человека, который я видел..."
Is that right, or should "который" also be accusative?
