Мне действительно интересно, не были ли книг ни сообществ пользователей online-системы, откуда мне можно учиться старому русскому языку или церковнославянскому языку (или обоим). Я был бы признательным за любую помощь.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any books of online resourses where I could learn Old Russian and/or Old Church Slavonic? Any help would be appreciated.

If Russian is not your native language, congratulations then - it is pretty good. The only thing left is to try not to render the usual American sentences, but to use Russian sentences instead.

sounds definitely American (I would appreciate any help, huh?;-)); a Russian would probably say "С благодарностью приму любую помощь" or "Заранее благодарю за любую помощь" or at the very least "Буду признателен за любую помощь". The same with "Мне действительно интересно": more natural for the modern Russian speech is to say "Я хотел бы знать,...", because "Мне действительно интересно" sounds definitely like a rendering of American "I am really interested...". I personally would say "Интересно, а есть ли книги или сетевые ресурсы, позволяющие изучить древнерусский или церковнославянский языки (или оба)? Заранее спасибо за любую помощь". But this is not a model phrase, just one of the possible many.

You can spot the differences between American Russian-speakers and non-American Russian-speakers? Как здорово!

I learned Russian when I was small, but stopped speaking it when I was 9-10, mostly due to a lack of family to speak it with. After "relearning it" at the university, I find that most college curricula are very lacking in teaching natural speech and colloquialisms, despite having native Russian faculty. Даже если я плохо говорю на русскому, спасибо за Ваше ободрение!
