Okay, I'm a t.A.T.u. fan...and their new album is called "Защищаться очками" What does it mean? I typed it in a translator and it says "To protect by the glasses", lol, which doesn't make much sense. Someone help, please?

If you'd be so kind, could you also tell what these mean? (They are the songs on the album, I believe.)

Белочка

Чорчовон

Володя Путин (<---lol, Putin? Are they going political or something? XD)

Depend on context, slang "белочка" (short from "белая горячка")can mean also : alcoholomania, clanks, D.T., d.t.'s, delirium tremens, jim-jams

is the CD going to be released in the US? also do you know if they write their own songs now? I could go on about the relationship they have/issue, but I guess this is the wrong forum for all of that!

I wish that more Russian musicians would do some releases here in the US. I guess that popular Russian music mostly stays in Europe

That's why I would like to become a diplomat some day... I would really like to almost introduce Russia to the rest of the world especially the United States.

they've always been political, they wore anti-war shirts on Leno during the begining of the Iraq situtaion and of course no one knew there knew what they said, it was pretty much "fuck war" but in offensive russian language. My father wouldn't even tell me the word at first haha

Hee hee, one of my old teachers forwarded me the link to that. I could make out the war bit, but not the first bit.. until he had me squint and sound it out! (:o!!)

Their first album drives me up the wall now, but I didn't mind it when I first heard about it 2/2 and a half years ago.

Right now though, if anyone can find me some more Гости из будещего, I would be a happy camper!
