добрый день... я американский студент. я учу русскуй язык; я в вторый семестр. я хочу часто говорить по-русский, но мало людех у меня говорят по-руццкий. я ещё говорю плохой, потому что мне нужно тренировка. Вы можем помогать? я тоже хочу русским людями и говорить о истории...

In English... I am an American college student learning Russian, in my second semester, and I would like to converse with fluent speakers for practice. I especially want help with cases and declensions. I would also like to talk about Russian culture and history and meet Russian people. Please excuse my bad grammar and/or spelling in the above text, since this is why I am seeking help... ;)

The keyboard program I use confuses me because I often type C when I want a Cyrillic C (Roman S), and it transliterates it as ц. I also type a Roman B when I want a Cyrillic B (V) and it transliterates it as б... it takes practice to use this program.

Вы обязательно должны когда-нибудь сюда приехать. К тому же, если вы смогли осилить такой сложный предмет, как молекулярная биология, с русским проблем возникнуть не должно :)

It''s really great, that yuo decided to study Russian! Ask me any questions and I''ll answer with pleasur. Believe me, Russia is nice and very interesting country. You surely should someday come here. Anyway if you were able to study such a complicated subject as molecular biology, you shouldn''t have any problems with Russian :)

P.S. As a native speaker, I'm afraid I keep using truly hard expressions, so I decided to give translation now - but next time I''ll try to torture you with Russian without translation :)

Plus, for some reason I read translit a lot better than Cyrillic, so I make supreme effort in my welcoming! Always glad to see more people picking up this language, it rocks my socks hardcore!

Another thing you can do, is enable the regular Russian keyboard layout that's included in your OS (Windows, I presume?). Then write Russian letters on the front of the keys with a pencil or marker.

You didn't say (in English at least) where you are located. If you are in or near San Diego, please come to the Russian language meetup. It's an informal way to meet Russian native speakers and students. http://russian.meetup.com/ They have these around the country, but attendance in your area may or may not be good. San Diego will probably have a very good turnout on April 21.

I'm also enjoying watching NTV America (a Russian TV channel from Dish Network). Perhaps you may want to subscribe to Russian TV.
