как по-русски Arc de Triomphe?

I have to give a small presentation tomorrow in my Russian class and was wondering how Russians refer to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. I'd like to say, "We climbed to the top of (both) the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe." What I have is, "Мы забрались на самый верх Эйфелевы вашня и Аркы триумфа."

I could be wrong, but wouldn't it be "на самом верху"?

No, because it answers the question where/куда and not where/где. So, "на" + Accusative, "на кого/что?" -> "на самый верх" is correct.

"Забрались" is not only "climbed". "Going upstairs", if it is somewhow difficult, is also "забираться".

You may use "поднялись" (infinitive подняться/подниматься) instead of "забрались". It's quite a universal word, which means "to go/move up".

So yes, I suppose another term could be found, but this is good enough. So what if it also means 'go up'/'go upstairs'. After all how do you climb up the Eiffel tower, if not by going upstairs or taking an elevator?

Yes but that's rather colloquial, which is why I used взбираться/взобрались in my version.

I think "Взбираться" is too difficult word to pronouns the right way for foreigners
