Russian fonts in imaging programs?
Aug. 25th, 2003 01:01 pmI'm using Windows XP. I have Russian support installed, so I can type Cyrillic into text programs with no problem. However, it doesn't work in Adobe Photoshop, which I use to edit images.
(For the record, I haven't tried anything yet, since I have no clue where to start.)
Do I need to turn on Unicode support for non-Unicode programs? I will if I have to, but I'd rather not, since it interferes with WinAmp.
Any suggestions?

Date: 2003-08-25 11:02 pm (UTC)The only suitable way is to install some hacked fonts for Photoshop usage (in case of TrueType, they must have Cyrillic characters both in Cyrillic and Latin-1 ranges. I don't remember Type 1 requirements, sorry).
