I'm not sure if this request conforms to the rules, and even if it does, I realize that this is quite a tall order, to say the least. But it's very important and my Russian is just not technical enough to translate this. So, I am begging someone to translate the below text from English into precise, accurate-as-possible Russian. This is very urgent. All help appreciated.
Thanks so much you guys and sorry for the length!

Answers to questions below:
- He can just answer “no” – and say that the two of you are simply friends – that you share a lot of interests – that he met you when you were in Russia and you and your mom want him to come for a visit so you and he can have a nice trip and he can see what the US is like - and then point to your invitation letter which says the same thing. Then just repeat it a second time “she’s not my girlfriend – we’re just friends”. Repetition helps to drive home the point.
- It is enough to say that he’s met your mom by phone and on webcam and that he’s talked to her quite a few times. He’s a “family friend” as far as your mom is concerned and he should just say that.
- He can request to have the refusal in writing and tell them that his lawyer will contact the consulate in a few to discuss the refusal with the consular officer.
- Wear a suit, don’t smile - but don’t seem hostile either. Look the officer in the eye –speak clearly in a loud voice (and speak slowly if speaking Russian to a non-Russian). Don’t look down, don’t speak in a soft voice, don’t seem passive or like he’s expecting failure.
- They’ll ask him the purpose of the trip and how he knows you. Answer honestly and in detail. If he doesn’t understand a question ask the officer to repeat it and to speak slowly if he cannot understand his/her Russian. If he really cannot understand what they are saying in Russian, say so - as a last resort he could try asking to speak to a different officer.
Nothing else comes to mind. The decision is a legal one – all anyone can do is present the facts as they are – in the best light possible.
