Mar. 27th, 2005 07:10 pmWell, my Russian classes have run out, and I'm left without an outlet to speak Russian. I DO speak it at the rare occasion that I do go to that Russian store, but again, that's very VERY intimidating/I speak broken Russian/it's very rare that I go there.
So any hints or ideas as to how I may speak/practice Russian with no one Russian in sight?
And other questions: In Бриллиантовая Рука, what does "Лёлик" mean?
When and in what situations would it be possible to mix perfective and imperfective verbs? As in, what would "Он смог перевести" as opposed to "он смог переводить" mean?
EDIT: What's the difference/when do you use жаркий/горячий?
And if you all don't mind, may you look at what I wrote about Easter and critique on it? My Russian teacher told me to write about what I knew about Easter, so here it goes...
