да, конечно. я просто, почему-то, подумал о рукотворном доме - т.е. скворечнике. :-)

human made – скворечник. "твой маленький скворечник". made by bird - гнездо. "твое маленькое гнездо" or "твое маленькое гнездышко".

Yes, it is. You would say "твоё [маленькое] гнёздышко". :)

Скворечник - for birds
Курятник - for chikens and other home birds like gooses or whatever.
гнездо - bird-build (nest)
птичий дом - plain translated bird house

Hmm... I think I also heard a word "птичник" a couple of times.

Скворечник. There is also "голубятня" (pigeon house) - but it usually names a large house especially for pigeons; "скворечник" can be used for any (but not very large!) bird house.

Exactly.
Твоё маленькое гнёздышко.

Well, "скворечник" is a word for man-made birdhouse but noone would use it for describing a human one. Here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/learn_russian/201195.html?thread=2335467#t2335467) a very good phrase was given. To compare someone's home with a bird's one use "твое маленькое гнездышко".

google.com/images + "bird house" (http://images.google.com/images?svnum=30&hl=en&q=bird+house&spell=1) = скворечник. But I didn't understand what "neuter" means in those pictures. :-))

What's pictured there are undoubtedly скворечники, NOT гнёзда.
Neuter applies to another word, гнездо (a nest,) which is neuter in Russian.
