Or it could be one's ability to write many донос'es (denunciation:). Anyhow, I think it's a pretty rare word. And as always, please provide context especially with things you can't seem to find anywhere.
Must be a word from a local or professional lingo, or a neologism. Please provide context (which is an universal rule for all translation help requests.)
The author was talking about how children "donosyat" and complain about school and complain if their parents discipline them. Therefore, I'm pretty sure "donoschivost'" means "whininess" (as in the tendency to whine) -- which in English is also a slang and semi-madeup word, but all the same understandable to pretty much everyone.
As far as I can judge - from the contexst - it means an ability to make you thoughts clear or to persuade smb. Доносчивость derives from the verb - доносить, донести. It has at least 2 meanings - 1) to bring information (or feelings, thoughts etc) to someone, to make someone understand you; to report 2) to squeal (on smb to) . But the noun is very clumzy and is created by the author of the sentence on the spot. The noun is not used in normal language.
