What is доносчивость? I can't find it in the dictionary...

it doesnt look like a word. there s "заносчивость", which is "arrogance" or smth.

in fact there s a noun "донос" or a verb "доносить" (to squeal). u better check it again

Or it could be one's ability to write many донос'es (denunciation:). Anyhow, I think it's a pretty rare word. And as always, please provide context especially with things you can't seem to find anywhere.

As far as I can judge - from the contexst - it means an ability to make you thoughts clear or to persuade smb. Доносчивость derives from the verb - доносить, донести. It has at least 2 meanings - 1) to bring information (or feelings, thoughts etc) to someone, to make someone understand you; to report 2) to squeal (on smb to) .
But the noun is very clumzy and is created by the author of the sentence on the spot. The noun is not used in normal language.
