Hello, learn_russian!

In English we can call a place a "hole", meaning it's boring, run down, not visiting/living in, etc. What are some words or phrases in Russian for describing a place you don't like?

Edit: Lol, it's the same? Well, thanks xD

Мухосранск = it's more about some geographically far away place, like - Она живет там где-то в своем Мухосранске. While "дыра" can be a place inside the city or a particular visiting place, like - Я был в этом клубе, дыра дырой. But also can be used as a meaning of "uninteresting", "not modern" place - like "Цивилизации никакой, просто дыра". Of course, "дыра" is much closer to literature while Мухосранск is an absolute slang.
