TURNING OVER MONEY

I want to write :

"The money must be turned over"

and what has been suggested is

"Надо пустить деньги на оборот"

Would anyone like to comment, please ?

To be clear "To turn over money" means using the initial money to make more money by buying and selling at a profit. I buy a house for £70,000 and immediately sell it for £80,000. I buy a fur coat in Russia for £5,000 and sell it in London for £10,000. Even if I make a loss, I am out in the market doing something with the money.

Has anyone got a list of the simpler financial terms ? (I am not into complications like hedge funds and the like.)

not "на оборот", but "в оборот". Its an exact term

Yeah, we say "провернуть" normally, "обернуть" belongs to a farmer's market or some such.

There`s such a phrase in russian: "деньги делают деньги"
or "деньги должны делать деньги"
maybe that`s the one you want?

Как вариант:
Деньги должны работать. But this is better when your talk in general, money must bring money. When you talk about specific money and business deal, лучше "эти деньги надо пустить в оборот".
