misterious ring...

On a ring that I got as a present there's written something like this:
господи спаси и сохра инмя

I understood the first two words, but not the whole sentence...
Is is a sort of prayer?

thank you! it's written сохра - инмя not сохраин - мя so I think it wasn't written by a real russian :)

May be, in this case it's like a russian manuals to chinese electronics - "вibключитб приbор" etc. ("выключить прибор"). :-)

I'm sure it is. :) I remember having a bag from some computer vendor. The bag had a motto: "Компыотеры для тех, кто мечтает". :) Chinese guys who made it didn't care that 'ыо' and 'ью' are different things. :)

conserve feels like "put in the boiling water, add sugar and winegar OR salt by your taste, in 3 minutes put in a container, add water with species until container is full , seal well, let it cool down in the room temp, then put in the storage."
and do not forget a label - "no preservatives added". :))
