from the song черный бумер by серега...

I don't think i'm getting the full understanding of the words доска, мурки, and the meaning of the second line in general.

Ай улица родная семь домов, три доски
Здесь делать неча наши мурки воют от тоски

(I'm not interested in hearing any sort of commentary about the song itself, its quality or otherwise.)

семь домов, три доски probably means that the houses are very small and/or dilapidated (доска=board, plank)

неча= slang short for нечего
мурка - a gangster's girlfriend, a moll

In the second line a comma or a period is missing; it should read
здесь делать неча, наши мурки воют от тоски
there is nothing to do (=nowhere to go) here, our molls are bored stiff

It's more probable that out of seven houses three are uninhabited and boarded up.

Sounds very far-fetched to me.

Don't think so. There definitely is a set phrase "Заколочен в три доски" about a boarded-up house.

три доски also could refer to bad condition of pedestian path - in old russian towns until mid of 20th cent. sidewalks were made from wood

Здесь делать неча = здесь нечего делать = there is nothing to do here
Наши мурки = our girls, women
воют от тоски = wailing, howling cause of depression, boredom etc..

Три доски... Well, not sure to be honest.

This is kind of urban-criminal folklore.
Мурки - I guess it means "our girls".
Мурки - is also popular female cats name.
So 2-nd fraze means allegorically something like:
"our girls howling like a cats because there is no way out of
this misarable life."
This is some hidden refference to prison also...
Cage-prison, cats-girls and so on...
Very sad song... Although it is very traditional :)

Well, that's what I like LJ for. Surprising questions and amazingly correct answers. Even on the New years day.

Ah, my native street - seven houses, three boards
//this is a metaphor. means in fact "ah, my small native street is SO small, only one line of seven little houses, sourrounded by a small bad fence made of three boards"

делать неча - vulgar reduction of "делать нечего" - nothing to do

наши мурки воют от тоски - our (gansta's) girfriends howl from bitter melancholy.

Мурка - common noun, short form from the name Мария - Маруся, Мура, Мурка.

I think it's not "наши мурки" but "даже мурки" there.

The phrase, therefore, means that "there's nothing to do here, even cats are howling from depression".
