You are right. But mind that всё is used with nouns in neuter gender in singular, e.g. всё лето (the whole summer, all summer, all summer long - depends on the context), whereas все is used with nouns in plural, both animate and inanimate, e.g. все люди (all people), все деревья (all trees), etc. Всё is often used as a generalizing word so to say, without any nouns following it, e.g. "Всё своё ношу с собой", "Пушкин - это наше всё", and so on.
