Мой дядя делает эти идолы. Он тоже делает маски.

Date: 2007-03-22 04:26 am (UTC)As to the second question, тоже does not work here. Use также, or, better still, say: Еще он делает маски.

Date: 2007-03-22 06:03 pm (UTC)In ancient times, totems used to be animated, so that's why I think this grammatical form _might_ remain; as for me, I won't have the heart to say "делать эти идолы".
Он также делает маски; if you said "тоже", this "also" would concern to "oн", like "мой отец делает маски, и мой дядя тоже" (делает их).
