Apr. 5th, 2006 10:41 pmI'm helping a friend out who is doing a project on the Russian language for one of her teaching classes, and she asked me something I thought maybe you people could help on. I do need both russian text and english translation. I need 10 statements, questions, and such that a teacher should know if he or she were to have a russian student or something. Basically, what are some phrases to know if you didn't speak russian but needed to talk to a russian student.
examples-
the bathroom is....
Stop!
Be quiet (polite and less polite ways)
sit down
do you understand?
How much English do you know?
Were you in school in Russia?
Thanks a bunch!
