I've been translating some citations I used in my paper. I'm not sure if I got these two right. Help, please.

1.
I'm confused about the bolded word:
“...интертекстуальный слой, пусть необычайно плотный, является для автора не целью, а средством. Если все может быть цитатой, а может ею и не быть, то раскрытие какого угодно количества цитат и, вообще, культурных и биографических подтекстов не решает проблемы интерпретации мира поэмы как целого” (Suhih) (“The intertextual layer, even if unusually thick, is not the end but the means for the author. If everything can be, or not be, a quotation, then the .... of any amount of quotations or cultural and biographical subtexts in general, does not solve the problem of interpretation of the poema’s world as a whole”).

exposure, revelation -- as I understand the Russian word does not seem to have the same meaning when put into the sentence in English

and 2.
“Мистичность России неотделима от необъятности пространств; железнодорожная сеть, сумевшая объять необъятное, покрыть собою страну, соразмерна, следовательно, сомистична” (Kuritsyn 297) (“The mysticism of Russia is inseparable from the boundlessness of spaces; the railroad, able to bind the boundless, to cover the country, is commeasurable and, therefore, co-mystical”)

Well translated, all of it. Actually, I must say things like that are easy to translate. Because they're a pretentious load of fake-intellectual junk :) which is not to say that you haven't done a good job.

I would suggest "explanation" or something like that. Here by "раскрытие" the author must have meant finding and presenting the implied, concealed meaning of "quotations or cultural and biographical subtexts". As I, being Russian and having passed a decent course of literature, understand that.

I'm not veru good in literature studies terminology in English, but I believe that in "раскрытие" author means finding the origin of quotation and pointing it out. Like, say, in interpreting a Chinese texts, traditionally full of quotes and references, for a Westerner.

I have doubts about the way of translation the word "co-mystical" as "cомистичный". I believe this term does not exist in Russian. May be it can be translated as "Российский мистицизм/мистицизм России неотделим от необъятности пространств: железная дорога, сумевшая объять необъятное, охватить всю страну, соразмерна /расстояниям/и, следовательно, тоже мистична".

I wasn't sure if мистичный is mystical or mythical -- I have no idea about the russian word

mythical (мифический) is from myth (миф), and mystical (мистический) is from mystic (мистика) - these are two altogether different word stems in Russian as well as in English.
