How would one pronounce жидкокристалический? I believe that's the word. It means liquid-crystalline, but when I hear it spoken, it sounds like Gidkatolicheskiy or something amongst those lines. Could someone write down the actual pronounciation either in russian or english, either one is good. Thanks.

I've been saying it correctly then...I guess my tutor doesn't know that word or something....because she kept giving me Gidkakristalicheskiy, meaning catholic jew or something like that.
