Homework!

I have to write 10 simple Russian sentences, 5 past tense, and 5 future.
Any suggestions aside from I read yesterday?
My Professor wanted me to include objects and prepositions.

If you've worked with the perfective and imperfective aspects, definitely make use of those.

I can't make up sentences for you.
Just use your imagination!

I actually just started the Past and Future Tense, my Prof says that Aspects will come later.
I'm just really bad at making up sentences, so I was hoping for some help being creative.

2. мы катались вчера с другом на катке.
3. нам понравилось ходить в известные театры в Москве.
4. мы нашли все необходимые ответы в книге на полке.
5. Саша не знал, как ответить на вопрос из задания.

1. мы будем встречать новый год в кругу друзей завтра.

2-4: what is спротом? I know спрут and спорт, but not спрот.
2-5: there is no word like "загородом" in modern Russian. It's "за городом".

But these sentenses - it's "English Russian")) Word order in Russian is free, but better to say:

Мы вчера с другом катались на катке.

Завтра мы будем встречать Новый Год в кругу друзей.
Через два дня я пойдя в спортзал заниматься спортом (хотя, это и "масло масляное")

The sentense "через неделю мы поедем кататься в горы на лыжах" make me lauthing))) Because it means "We go to mountains BY ski" - "Мы на лыжах поедем в горы кататься".

Надо: "Через неделю мы поедем в горы кататься на лыжах".

you could check my LJ to make sure) I agree with the remark concerning the sentance about mountains. but...not with the first one) actually for foreigners it's easier to translate it as I wrote, I hope, cause an adverbial modifier of time is usually placed in the end in English, if I'm not mistaken...but in fact Word order in Russian is free (as you wrote=)

if you're just learning past and future, i'm assuming you don't know many cases. so, i tried to limit it to accusative and prepositional. also, you probably have a somewhat limited vocabulary. so, even if you don't know how to say these, maybe they'll inspire you? :-) good luck!

yesterday it was cold.
last night i slept in the living room.
i ate meat in the kitchen.

i will buy a book about russia.
tomorrow i won't do/prepare homework.
on saturday i will study/read at the library.
