Ok, so make believe you're in a Russian dating situation... what kind of things would you say to break it off? For example... what if you want to say "This isn't going to work out...?"

This idiom doesn't exist in Russian so you can't translate it word by word. Better use yulia's phrases.

There is another idiom that is used when you are not satisfied with the way things happen: "Так дело не пойдет". You normally say it when you want to do something about it but it's not really suitable if you just want to break up.

The working language of this community is English. Not all of its members have enough skills to read Russian passages. Please consider it.
I personally don't need to learn Russian swear words as I know them myself. If somebody else wants to learn it, you should better contact people who run this community and ask if this is acceptable.
