I'm looking for the title of a Mumiy Troll song. Unfortunately, because I've only just begun to work on my Russian, I don't know much of the song.

The part I am able to make out is: "dobre dobre dobre ootra".

Has someone heard it?

Thanks!

Yes, it's of the younger Alexander Abdulov.
And he is in Обыкновенное чудо / Ordinary miracle.
He is one of my favorite actors:

You're very welcome!! Yayish. =) I get my russian songs from a site called 3mp3.ru. One of my Russian friends told me about it (he's a big mumiy troll fan, too lol). You have to register and you can download only one song a day, but still. It's pretty easy to navigate and stuff, so. =))

if you try using a russian proxy [just look for "russian proxies" via google and find an ip, stick it into your browser and that should do it -- is just a tad slow ... ] then you can download more than one song a day via 3mp3.ru :)

Mumiy Troll is one of my favourite bands, but better do not try to learn Russian with the help of MT songs: band leader Lagutenko writes quite strange and paradoxical lyrics with a lot of non-typical combinations of words. And his pronunciation is pretty far from perfect :)

If you are interested, I can try to translate and explain any MT song: I'm not an an expert in English, but I am Russian native speaker and I love Mumiy Troll :)

OK :)
I just thought that usually music helps to learn language: for example, it was interesting for me to learn English because I love "The Beatles"... And their songs helped me a lot: first, lyrics are quite simple, and second - there are a lot of Russian books about "The Beatles" with comments and explanations.

But MT's lyrics are not so simple :)

In any case, feel free to ask me about MT or Zemfira, these artists are very interesting for me and maybe I can tell something useful.

Yes, Tatu, or "Tату" in Russian.
As far as I know they use "T.A.T.u." spelling for non-Russian audience because of some copyright problems: "Tatu" band already exists in Australia.
About Tatu's mp3 - you can try http://www.tatu.ru/
There is an English version on this site.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of Tatu, they are for teenagers, I think :) But my best English-speaking friend [livejournal.com profile] bitty2002 is actually fan, you can talk to her or at least check her userinfo, there are a lot of Tatu links :)
