I've always been interested in the Russian language. While I'm not officially learning it right now, I plan on it as soon as I graduate from my junior college. I just wanted to know -- what attracted y'all to this language?

I first started learning it because my class was going to visit an orphanage in Kaliningrad that our school has helped for the last 8 years (this year, our class raised the equivalent of about $11 000), and were going to homestay with local families. So, I started learning git out of convenience, and have continued because I find the language simply beautiful.
