[identity profile] ugly-boy.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] learn_russian
There's a store in town called Europ Market that sells a lot of Eastern European food items and cooking supplies. I recently saw one of their ads in a local paper and under the title Euro Market it said Русский Магазин. Knowing the meaning of "Русский" and the French word magasin (store, shop) I put two and two together and guessed that that Русский Магазин must mean "Russian Store."

Just wanted to share this little "joys of language learning" story with you all.
