I've recently purchased the Pimsleur "Quick and Simple" Russian course and am enjoying it immensely. I'm wondering if this group might have some suggestions on how to make the best use of it.

I'm also interested in buying the next Pimsleur course in the Russian series in case someone has one they would like to sell.

The Pimsleur series is a great one, and what I'm using to help my husband learn Russian. I would suggest supplementing the tapes with a grammar reference. It does a good job at presenting phrases, but doesn't cover some of the better ways of explaining the case system as a whole. I highly recommend

The latter gives written exercises that help drive some of the finer points of grammar home. Good luck!

I finished Level 1 of Russian, which had 30 lessons. The Pimsleur method is fantastic. If you're in the UK, I could sell you my tapes - I bought them off ebay about half a year ago - cost me a lot less than the $300 for the new set!
