Aug. 15th, 2003 04:04 pmHello everyone! I am interested in learning Russian. I know it sounds cheesy, but does anyone have any reccomendations on purchasing an audio course to begin learning from? Thanks in advance for all your help.

IMHO, it's better to learn basics of russian language with teacher, not only using audio/video courses.

Date: 2003-08-17 01:00 am (UTC)I attend the University of Iowa, which has one of the top Russian undergraduate programs in the United States, and also help tutor it, so if you ever have any questions or would like me to make web-based excercises for you as I have with some of my other tutees, I'd be more than glad to. Just check out my journal for my contact info.

If you're in advance Russian, or if you've passed that level, please let me know what materials you used, in case there's anything that I can buy. I am so worried about losing all my skills since they cancelled our advanced class.
