You may want to ask the author/owner of Glosses (http://glosses.net). I reckon she had recently created a little story/scrapbook involving cases for her class that she teaches. I don't know how helpful in straight forward explaining that would be, but it sure does make it easier (from my point of view as a teacher/tutor of Russian).
There's also another couple of quick ways of learning it, but unfortunately they work best mainly for native or heritage speakers, others don't benefit as much.
Yes, heritage speakers :p They are the ones who were born in Russia (or any other country) then were brought to another country in early childhood or who have parents/grandparents who still use native language frequently, so the kids have been exposed to the language but haven't been through much schooling regarding it.
One of the ways is a little chidlrens' rhyme like the English with Mars, Venus etc. The other one - official that is used in schools and textbooks - is supplemented with certain questions and prepositions applicable to each case.
