I've encountered a phrase in a short story that I can't make heads or tails of. The translation-helpy-guide is no help at all, either. It says to look it up under another entry that doesn't exist... don't you love it when that happens?

Anyway, here's the sentence:

Двугривенный цена не сходная, но ему не до цены...

I got all the nouns in that part down pat, but all the little bits elude me, specifially the "ему не до" part of it.

Any help?

Двугривенный is not a good price, but the price does not matter to him...

This expression means that you can't do something or think of something because you have other things to do or think, or because you tired..

Examples:
"извини, мне не до тебя" (meaning, "у меня дел по горло (=много)" or "я слишком устал")

"- опять ты врешь?
- Нет, мне не до вранья " (means for example "все слишком серьезно, чтобы я мог врать")

hey man!! my name's elea...im not russian but ive been into russia for about 4 years now...(like OBSESSED with it!--for a many a few reasons)...i used to learn it...but for some reason it got canceled-one of these day i will try to pick up on it again...i cant eve rad the alphabet anymore...its a hard language, man! so good luck with it!...but uh...if u ever wanna talk...im here!!
