Hi everybody!
i got a question from my friend studying russian: why don't we say "мне нужно искать слово в словаре" (and instead we say "мне нужно найти" or "мне нужно поискать")
though in english both cases are possible:
i need to search for a word
i need to find a word

Hello,
Can anyone help me with some web-pages where I can order second-hand Russian language novels - preferably that wouldn't cost a lot to send to Australia?

I've been meaning to buy a book which I already have in English, and learn via checking between the two, but this keeps getting delayed and delayed because I have such trouble finding books which I already own copies of - and often online searches don't allow Cyrillic.

For instance, I have just read Leonid Tsypkin's Summer in Baden Baden in English and would like to try find a copy in Russian.

Are there any particular websites that are good for this (I often use Abebooks.com for English books) ?

Thank you.
