english and russian subtitles for russian films

Does anyone know where I can download English and/or Russian subtitles for Russian films in .avi format?  I'm not totally lost without the subtitles but I'm watching a bunch of Soviet films for a film class and it would help with the analysis and picking up some new vocabulary.

I'm finishing up my first year learning the language and right now i'm learning about comparing ages, but my book doesn't really tell me the difference between моложе/младше

My book mainly uses the first but then sometimes throws in the second but doesn't explain why. 

can someone explain it to me please?
