I'm reading Zoschenko's "Операция", and the main character is said to have a "пшённая болезнь". I'm guessing it's an obsolete colloquial idiom/slang for some type of tumor or cyst, but none of my dictionaries explain what пшённый means in this context, so I really don't know.

Sorry for off-top, but I feel concerned about the problem and need somebody to explain legal context to me. And it's a link to a funny Russian community anyway: it can be helpful in understanding cultural context.

Well, thanks to superslayer, I made blini today (although I didn't have sour cream... so I just used strawberry preserves and honey), although they really, really resembled crêpes... are they supposed to resemble crepes that much? I could even flip them and everything (as in, just using the pan and throwing it in the air).

Sooo... I was wondering if anyone here can give me a kick-ass recipe for Stroganoff. I feel like doing something Russian-originated. Thanks!
