I've found a way for people to help them learn useful, modern Russian. And it's right here! In the "Search Interests" field, in Cyrillic type in something you are interested in. (Wow, how many times did I say "in"? Lol.) Then go to whatever Russian Community pops up. I did this w/ chocolate (шоколад) and I entered the first Russian Chocolate-Lovers community, and to my surprise, I could read the entire first entry. XD It's kind of fun because the people are talking about something that's interesting to you and you learn some Russian along the way. :D

Now, I know your mother told you never to meet people from the Internet, but I was wondering if there was anyone here in the London/Essex area that wanted to meet up with a view to talking Russian to each other for practice? Comment here or send me a mail (from my userinfo) to discuss the idea.
