Pre-revolutionary orthography
Jun. 29th, 2004 02:00 am[Technical note]
If you want to write a text with pre-revolutionary letters, you can wrap it in a "font" html anchor. For example:
write
read
The list of fonts may be longer or shorter, according to your taste. The browser will use the first available font from the list, so the order is important.
Update. It was suggested that і be used instead of "i" to represent pre-revolutionary Russian "i". Indeed: і, i — big difference! :-)
