What is the difference between two russian sentences:
Каждый день я хожу в школу после завтрака
Каждый день я иду в школу после завтрака
(Every day i walk to school after i have breakfast)

In the original phrase it is crucial that whatever happens "after I have breakfast".
In your version, it is more important that "I go to school" (and the breakfast is given just as a hint to give an idea about the time).
At least that is how it sounds to me.

can be amplified with related adverbial modifiers like часто, иногда, периодически, каждый день
Я иду в школу - This sentence more relates the process, can be amplified with adverbial modifiers - я иду в школу 15 минут, я быстро иду в школу.

But it is not a big deal if you say it the other way round - an excusable mistake even for a native speaker, just a small inaccuracy.
