learn_russianI've been trying to find a Russian expression with the same meaning as "swallow your pride". When I try to use online translators I keep coming up with things that are closer to "eat crow" than what I'm looking for.
Translating the words more directly I get this: проглотить гордость свою
Is that a phrase which would ever be seen in Russian?
Is it ordered correctly?
Do you know of a more appropriate way I could say "swallow your pride" in Russian?
I really want the concept of "swallowing" to be existent in the Russian version.
