[identity profile] leakingbucket.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] learn_russian
Few days ago, I posted a question here, about what is the best way to learn to write in Russian, mainly, people just told me to start... so I did, and this is:
http://leakingbucket.livejournal.com/2113.html
the result!!!
which I have spent on 30 mins, I want you to know that this is my first time writing what so ever in Russian (though I do know it fluently, and can read quite good as I said in my last post.)
I would be really glad if you people tell me what you think about my writing for the first time, correct me, and just comment on the topic.

Thank you all in advance ^_^

Very well in general, just a bit about your spellings (note hyphens as well).

[skip]

Keep going, it is good :)

Nonsense. You wrote it quite well, with just a few mistakes. As for the rest, you are not writing a book, are you? Who the hell cares about stylistics? Looks like the person you've spoken to just wanted to offend you. About the use of "ты", it's nonsense as well. You can perfectly use "ты" in Russian the way you did.

The guy is clearly going out of his way to offend you.

Your last two sentences are nearly flawless and they are far from trivial.
And yes, such use of "ты" is acceptable and common in Russian.

The person who told you that is a jerk. And the part about "ты" is nonsense as well.

Having said that, the Russian words are usually longer than the English ones, and when you string several clauses in a row, it may sound awkward. Not wrong, but awkward. Next time you write something, try not to follow an English sentence you compose in your head, but break it down into a few simpler ones.

These are not my interests, just follow the link.
Something tells me this is the same person as in the transcript.

Well, that's a bit of a consolation. It would be really sad if you met two of the kind in such a short period.

By the way, травить in this context doesn't mean to poison, but to harass, to torment.

First, the working language of this community is English. You may want to spend some time learning it before trying to harass foreigners, whose Russian is not perfect.
Second, I am sure that pointing out the mistakes and explaining how to correct them would be appreciated. This is not what you are doing and your declared objective is quite different.
Third, a person with such interests should be banned from a community like this and you are lucky I am not the moderator here.

There are some things that just drive me mad.
Kicking a learner is like kicking a child. It's easy but abhorrent.
Taking pleasure in it is really perverse. Well, may God or one of the moderators be his judge.
