torrents.ru is the answer, but i'm not sure if it is legal, 'cause i never cared about things like that. ) I never use software which is not GPL, BSD or CC, but as for music and movies - what i find is mine.

By the way some of these books can be not read out loud at all.

And by the way, as far as I know, there is a group of enthusiastic people on torrents.ru, who read books and seed the result, they are amateurs and pro-sharing, so if the book is in public domain, downloading it is absolutely legal. If anyone is interested, I could ask people there for a list of legal audio books downloads.

As an excuse for downloading piate releases of Russian audio books and German darkwawe records I could say that buying these things online is mostly impossible.
