learn_russianI'm working on a little oral brief for my class. We are going to talk about a favorite TV show or movie. This is what I've come up with, but I'm not sure about some of the conjugation. Could someone please tell me if this looks okay? Thanks in advance!

Я люблю шоу "Lost."
Это фантастику и загадочниый шоу.
Люди мели на острове. Они хотят поедут дом, но они не могут.
Это странного компания "Dharma Initiative" использовали остров для эксперименты много лет назад.
"Лост" у них есть очень хорошого актеры, и они очень популярный.
Она начинаются в двадцать часов, и кончаются в двадцать один часов, в каждый Среду на канал ABC. По-моему, Я думаею вы будете любить это шоу.
What I think I'm saying
I love the show "Lost."
It is a science-fiction and mystery (mysterious) show.
People are stranded on an island. They want to go home, but they cannot.
The strange company "Dharma Initiative" used the island for experiments many years ago.
Lost has many great actors, and they are very popular.
It starts at 8pm, and ends at 9pm, every Wednesday on the channel ABC. In my opinion, I think you all will love this show.
When I say, "Люди мели на острове" am I correctly implying that the people are currently in the present state of being stranded? Or is that saying they are stranded, but in past tense? We are currently learning about imperfective/perfective future tenses and aspect formation, and I want to make sure that I'm saying this right.
Was "science-fiction" and "mystery" conjugated properly when they describe the show?
If there's any more pointers to brush this up, I'd be grateful!

В "Остаться в живых" занято много отличных актёров, они очень популярны.
Сериал начинается в восемь часов вечера, заканчивается в девять, по средам на канале ABC. Думаю, вам всем понравится этот сериал.

People shoals on an island (OR: people sweep on an island -- depending on where's the stress in your "мели"). They want will drive their house, but they can't.
Translating English sentences word by word never works. You have to construct Russian phrases, not English phrases where Russian words are sunstituted for English ones.
