How would you say in russian "It's a pity that we're no longer friends" ? I know it's a very basic question but I'm a beginner and still have hard to figure out such things :P

Как жаль, что мы больше не друзья is okay too. "Как" is "how". How sad that we're no longer friends.
But it sounds even more sad than just жаль, что мы больше не друзья.

ah, I guess it sounds a bit too serious. I'm suppose to use in a conversation between two young girls that were just high school friends and then got in a fight over something stupid, just like all teens... ok enough with explanations haha. Thanks for help anyway :)

In this context, it would be better to use "Жаль, что мы больше не дружим"

"Дружить" sounds a bit more childish than "быть друзьями".
