Hi, a couple more vocab questions if anyone has the time

A text I'm reading refers to a man as an  'эмигрант с медной лысиной' - is this a redhead with a bald spot or have I totally misunderstood?

'высоко на рудоносных склонах Санмигуэльских гор, на озерах Тетонского урочища' - does anyone know what the English is for the 2nd place listed in here? I think it's in Arizona but I can't find any possibilities on the map!

 Spasibo!

Perhaps тетонского refers to the Grand Tetons?

For first I understand it as a man with shining bald spot.

С медной лысиной - looks like it's "sunburned" bald spot. Word медный, when we speak about skin tone, generally refers to sunburn or natural skin tone of american indians.
Урочище - generally it's part of landscape, that differs from main theme. For example small forest in prairie of oasis in desert. Here he speaks about Grand Teton park lake.

It must be an allusion to 'медный лоб (http://slovari.yandex.ru/dict/abramov/article/abramov/7/abr726.html)' -- someone unconscionable.

Not likely. It's about the colour of the skin. It can be tanned or just red with heat or tension.
