hey, I just have a few questions/sentences that need corrections.

1. Он написал, что он очень скучал без родителей.

2. Он не неписал где он живёт потому что, то родительи заберёт Дядю Фёдора.

3. По-котому... is that how you would say 'in cat's opinion...'

4. ... здоровье у него не хорошего.

5. I want to say, the dogs fur is getting rough, because winter is coming, but I don't know how to say 'winter is coming'. Is it

'зима придёт' ?

6.I want to say, he mixed two words, or he combined two words, is this the proper verb,

'он смел...' ?

по-кошачьи - would mean In a cat's way (She walkes like a cat, quietly and quickly...; or - He shouted like a cat in May :))))
по-кошачьему - maybe, but looks like a self-made word :)))

You've missed some commas.

1. Он написал, что очень скучает без родителей.
2. Он не написал, где живёт, потому что родители забрали бы Дядю Фёдора.
3. По кошачьему мнению or по мнению кота.

3. I guess we don't use this structure in any other cases except for "по-моему/по-твоему..."
По мнению кота... (С точки зрения кота...)
4. ... здоровье у него нехорошее. But better - здоровье у него слабое/плохое.
5. приближается зима / идёт зима / and a nice expression - зима на носу - meaning it's very close :))
6. он соединил / смешал два слова... (but here should be some better variants... I can't think of any :))

Sorry if I'm tactless, or pointing out something inappropriate, discouraging despite the purpose of the community, but I don't feel like correcting anymore.

No responses to questions, no clarity, no clarifications.
The posts increasingly seem like i-don't-care-at-all attitudish, like, here ya go, now fetch me some stuff passable for my homework, i'll check it in a few hours and hand whatever mess results in, anyway.
Some hollow thanks for decoration do not help much.
I'd be pleased if I see further degradation of advice provided in response for the original poster. Well deserved that would be.

I agree, I'd like to know how we've scored so far in the original poster's assignments, but to no avail. :) Anyhow, just ignore her inquiries or remind her that this community isn't about doing someone's homework (that's mentioned in the community rules, btw) on the regular basis. And that's pretty much what it seems according to her progress (e.g. inability to say in perfect Russian "I like +something.") and the kind of questions (where a simple dictionary/grammar look up would suffice for finding the answer).

If you do not feel like correcting my work I completely understand.
I have been studying russian for slightly over two years not, and I am a slowly getting a grasp on it. This site has been immensely helpful for me. I cannot stress that enough. Although, I wish I could show you what it's like to be in my shoes. I write paragraphs up for perhaps an house. Correct my grammar as much as I can. I type it up for another hour, which helps me edit it one more time. So often I think of five possible ways of wording a sentence and more than likely four of them are wrong. So I am luck if I get it typed out correctly. So often, the simplest mistakes are made over and over again. It doesn't mean that I am not paying attention. It just means that it doesn't jump out as incorrect as easily as an incorrectly worded english sentence would.

I am sorry that you guys don't feel appreciated. I live in Canada, and am surrounded in multi-lingual people. It's common practice to help correct others grammar. I've been doing it for friends since I was 12 at least. I just get a little bit ahead of myself. We often leave please' and thank-you's as unspoken because we all know we would help each other in the very same way if the situation was switched around.

I am very very sorry, and quite upset after these comments. I didn't even know it was here because I don't usually go back to check a post after I have read the replies once.

Anyways I've decided to leave this community. I wont regret being involved this community because, like I said, it has immensely transformed my russian with a different perspective as opposed to my professor. I will instead, ask my professor to read over my paragraphs and answer my questions because she is as easily open to my questions, but only slightly more busy.

You did agree to the actual accusation. That you do not reply to the people trying to understand your problems, trying to provide help, spending their time and heart.

Everything else was my personal feelings towards the kind of people who do that. Can't blame for freedom of conscience. I might feel for you, noone likes to be despised, but that's the reason for anything to improve — the fact that someone does care about the thing.

There was at least one other, rather obvious way out of the challenge you've been presented with. Still not too late to take it.
But no one will ever force you to.
All I did was give you a warning: I wouldn't cheer on people who make certain choices.
