I am researching the Silver Age poets and their lives during the Revolution. Can anyone recommend any books, academic articles, memoirs, films, or any other resources for this research? I've read, for instance, Irina Odoevtseva's memoir "Na Beregax Nevy."

I welcome anything at all relevant. Also, if you can find an online or electronic copy of these resources that would be ideal. Thanks very much in advance!

If we are limited by the time of the Revolution (not earlier or later) and by the Silver Age poets (not prosaists) I would recommed the following:

1. Нина Берберова, "Курсив мой" (Nina Berberova, "Italics Are Mine") - the first part of the memoirs refers to that period
2. Алексей Ремизов, "Взвихренная Русь" (not much about poets, a lot about the perception of the Revolution)
3. Иван Бунин, "Окаянные дни", http://imwerden.de/cat/modules.php?name=books&pa=showbook&pid=1092 (same as #2)
4. Георгий Иванов, "Петербургские зимы" - quite interesting memoirs with a good deal of mistification.

In fact, the topic of your research is quite extensive. :)

Marina Tsvetaeva wrote very interesting and beautiful diary textes during the revolution and civil war time. (E.g. Zemnie pridmety, Cherdachnoe: http://www.litwomen.ru/stackbook.html?id=515, Moi sluzhby: http://www.classic-book.ru/lib/al/book/1425).
The other texts are available at lib.ru, but the site is currently not working (at least here it doesn't work).

Valentin Kataev "Almazniy moi venets" (Алмазный мой венец) is the best book about the Silver Age I think. I began to understand Russian poetry only after reading this awesome book. But this is not a standard memoirs. Kataev was a friend of Bulgakov, Yesenin, Mayakovskiy, Olesha and many others and in the end of his life he wrote some kind of a story of their youth and friendship. This story is full of love to his friends and has a beautiful atmosphere of 20s so you understand why they all became poets and writers. Kataev didn't name the characters, he used nicknames for them such as Komandor (Mayakovskiy), sineglaziy (Bulgakov) etc. but you can guess easy who is who.

He also wrote "Trava zabven'ya" which is about Bunin (who was his teacher) and "Sviatoy kolodets" which is about Mayakovskiy.
